Sustainability – LEED
High Performance Systems Corporation is committed to providing sustainable resinous flooring systems to our clients and we comply with LEED sustainability standards. Many of the products that we use contain low VOCs, which ensure a more environmentally sustainable workplace.
The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED) sustainability certification program, which was founded by the U.S. Green Building Council, categorizes project requirements based on ratings systems for each individual industry. These industries include many that may need to upgrade their flooring systems, such as commercial buildings, schools, and healthcare facilities.
At High Performance Systems Corporation, we place a high value on sustainability, and we are well versed in the LEED compliance of the products that we use.
If your project requires LEED certified products, or if you would like to use LEED certified products in order to make your facility more environmentally friendly, contact us to learn more. We will make sure our proposed plan is LEED compliant and we will work with our manufacturers to make sure every component fits the requirements.
What is LEED?
LEED requirements are separated into categories that assign credits to certain projects that can be earned in order to satisfy the sustainable building requirements.
LEED certified buildings and products significantly reduce the amount of strain on the environment, as they generate less waste and are more resource and energy-efficient.
